Risoul is a purpose-built ski resort which still offers a traditional village atmosphere, making it a particularly popular and charming destination for families. Risoul is located at the entrance of the picturesque Queyras Regional Park and faces the Massif des Ecrins mountain range, so visitors can enjoy great views and impressive scenery as well as excellent skiing.

Risoul is a well-equipped resort and offers all necessary amenities, including local shops, a range of bars and restaurants, a sport shop and launderette, doctors and pharmacies

Children
Risoul offers a baby-club, which caters for very young children and babies aged between 6 months and 3 years. The ESF and the childrens's club "Les Marmottes s'amusent" offers childcare for children aged 3 years and over. "Les Petits Montagnards" offers fun activities based around exploring and discovering the mountain environment, ideal for children aged between 6 and 12 years.
Sports and leisure
As part of the Forêt Blanche ski domain linking Risoul to Vars, the resort offers 180km of ski runs.
Risoul offers cross-country skiers to chance to explore 17km of off-piste trails, access to which is free of charge
