Les Sables d'Olonne is a lively resort, located 90km from Nantes and known as the Perle de la Cote de Lumiere for its magnificent south-facing fine sandy beach and exceptionally mild climate. The large bustling fishing port, with pretty quays and marina, make this an attractive and exciting coastal destination. This seaside resort is part of the "Pavillon Bleu" Charter (Blue Flag Charter: high environmental and safety standards)

Other activities

A variety of activities are available in the resort, including watersports, horse-riding, tennis and golf, rambling trails through the resort's vast green spaces, dunes and wetland forests offering preserved flora and fauna. Plus, enjoy spa treatments at the thalassatherapy centre and browsing the four street markets held in the pedestrianised city centre. The resort also has a casino, nightclub and bowling alley.
