5km south of Royan and situated between the coast and the forest, the popular seaside resort of Saint-Georges-de-Didonne has a gently sloping sandy beach stretching over 3.5km, and is ideal for families. The resort is also surrounded by oak forests and boasts an attractive lighthouse and plenty of leisure activities.
