Resort

Located on the renowned Col de la Madeleine mountain pass (closed in winter), SAINT-FRANCOIS-LONGCHAMP offers skiers impressive scenery and wide open spaces. The resort is made up of the village of Saint-Francois (1450m) and the ski resort of Longchamp (1650m), which together create a charming family-friendly resort, steeped in mountain traditions and boasting a convivial, welcoming atmosphere.

Practical information and leisure

SAINT FRANCOIS is within easy reach from Saint-Avre-La Chambre (12km) train station, by coach or taxi. The resort is well-equipped and offers all necessary amenities, including local shops, a range of bars and restaurants, cash points, a launderette, and doctors and pharmacy.

Children

"Les Lutins" and "Les Marmottons" snow kindergardens welcome children aged 3 months-3 years, and the ESF ski school offers ski lessons to children aged 4 years and over. For slightly older children, the ESF "Ski Club des Cabris" has activities aimed at 6-12 years during French school holidays.

Sports and leisure

As part of the GRAND DOMAINE ski area, SAINT-FRANCOIS LONGCHAMP offers skiers 165km of slopes to explore, and the resort itself offers 70km of slopes to suit skiers of all abilities within the local ski area.
