The town of Batz sur Mer is located on a peninsula between La Baule (7km) and Le Croisic (3km). Its principal resource comes from sea salt exploitation.
Take the time to linger along the fine sandy Valentin beach, the little port of Saint-Michel and its standing stone, Govelle beach, popular with surfers.

Practical information and leisure

Batz-sur-Mer can be reached by rail via La Baule train station (8km). The resort is well-equipped and offers a range of amenities and facilities, including a shuttle bus service which runs between the train station and resort all year long.
