Practical information

Prices are per accommodation, per week - 7 nights min. (5/4-3/5 + 5/7-30/8 + 18/10-1/11: Saturday-Saturday)
Short breaks (2 nights min. - can be booked up to 1 month before departure; subject to availability) include bed linen, towels and end of stay cleaning (excl. kitchenette)
Not included: security deposit (300 euros/unit), local tourist tax, cleaning charges (incurred if accommodation is not left thoroughly cleaned on departure): 45-55 euros. Mid-stay cleaning available on request (enquire locally)

Located in the M{doc region, famous for its wine production, Carcans is a resort set in between ocean and forest, on the shores of the largest freshwater lake in France (Hourtin-Carcans lake). Carcans-Plage is a pleasant little seaside resort dotted with cycle paths running through a pine forest along the sandy beaches of the Côte d'Argent (Silver coast) attracting sunbathers, surfers and swimmers.

Other activities

The resort offers a wide range of watersports including paddle-boards, as well as activities such as archery, a climbing wall and an adventure park, plus local shops and restaurants.
