Tucked away in the mountains is VALLOIRE, a traditional village retaining its rustic French charm while offering extensive slopes for beginners and intermediates. Every year, it hosts several events, one of which is the international snow and ice sculpture festival in January. 17km away lies Valmeinier, divided into two centres: the traditional village (1500m) and the ski resort (1800m), right at the foot of the slopes. Both resorts form the Galibier Thabor domain suitable for all levels of skiers.
