Castelmoron-sur-Lot is a mediaeval town situated between the Perigord and Gascony areas of the Dordogne, complete with picturesque squares and market places, a castle and half-timbered houses built on the banks of the Lot river. The village sits at the foot of a wooded hill, and is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding region as well as sampling the many regional specialities and gastronomical delights on offer in the area.
