Resort

The mediaeval city of Cajarc is located on the banks of the Lot river, and is nestled amongst the cliffs and canyons that characterise the surrounding countryside of the Dordogne region. This quiet town was once home to two of France's most celebrated figures, the writer Francoise Sagan (born in Cajarc) and former French President Georges Pompidou, who worked as a town councillor in Cajarc, and is the perfect place for a relaxed getaway and chance to escape daily life.
