Nestled between Cabourg (7km) and Deauville (12km), Houlgate, a renowned seaside resort since the late 19th Century, is one of the prettiest towns located on Normandy's "Cote Fleurie". Houlgate is an excellent base to exlpore some of Normandy's most impressive sites and landmarks from. A trip to Caen and its castle (30km) and the D-Day beaches are highly reccommended, as is a visit to the pretty port of Honfleur (25km from Houlgate).
