Resort

Located just 25km from Caen and 20km from Deauville, the seaside town of Cabourg has retained all the charms of a traditional Belle Epoque resort, and offers pretty flower gardens, shaded avenues and the famous Marcel Proust promenade which stretches the length of the vast sandy beach. Cabourg is also an excellent base for any visitors hoping to explore the surrounding area, such as the D-Day landing beaches and towns such as Honfleur, which is famous for attracting artists and painters.

Practical information and leisure

Cabourg is well-equipped and offers a range of modern facilities and amenities, including shuttle buses operating to/from the train station, doctors and pharmacies, nurseries and beach clubs for children, a swimming pool, plus 2 horse-riding centres and sailing club, as well as restaurants serving local specialties. Cabourg's beaches are supervised in season only.
