Located just 7km from Cannes and nestled in the beautiful bay of La Napoule by the Mediterranean sea, Mandelieu looks out onto the garden islands of Lerins. The resort has been built in a now protected area of natural landscape and is surrounded by the Esterel and Tanneron moutain range which shelters a forest of Mimosa trees, celebrated every year in February's Mimosa Festival.
Mandelieu-La Napoule is also a choice destination for sailors and watersports amateurs and since 1987, the resort has been granted the "Station Voile" award, for the quality of its equipment and wealth of maritime-related activities.
Madelieu's 6 ports make it the largest site regarding the number of moorings in the Alpes Maritime region.

Other activities

Activities available in the resort include watersports such as sailing, rowing, water-skiing, jet-skiing, and speedboat rides, rambling, horse-riding or mountain biking on trails through a natural protected area which also offers a 9 and 18-hole golf course, as well as piano-bars, a casino, an outdoor summer cinema and local restaurants.
Mandelieu is also a great base for anyone who wants to explore more of the surrounding area. A trip to the picturesque garden islands of Lerins and the nearby towns of Cannes and Grasse, the perfume capital of the world, are all highly recommended, and the area also offers several Provencal street markets (including Capitou, Minelle, La Napoule and Les Termes), perfect for smapling local produce.

Practical information

Mandelieu is a well-equipped resort, and offers a wide range of services including a shuttle bus service between the resort centre and the airport and train station, pharmacies and doctors' surgeries.
Mandelieu can be easily accessed from the UK by train.
