Ciboure is situated 1km from Saint-Jean-de-Luz and is built at the foot of the Nivelle bridge. This remarkably pretty town benefits from its location between the Atlantic Ocean and the hilltops of Bordagain, and the resort's history has been shaped by the sea and its fisherman. Ciboure is also famous for the numerous artists who have passed through the resort, including the conductor Maurice Ravel.

Other activities

A range of activities are available in Ciboure, including tennis, moutain biking, watersports and white-water sports, Pelote Basque, paragliding, swimming, an 18-hole golf course and Thalassotherapy centre, plus a casino and nightclub.
