LES RIVES DE SAINT BRICE residence is located between Ares and Andernos, close to seasonal shops and 10km from the Ocean beaches (access via a cycle path) and offers direct access to the river basin beach, approx. 400m away. This residence is made up of 132 holiday houses (either terraced or detached) split into two groups of distinctivly styled houses - the fishermen's village ("pecheur") and the typical Arcachonnaise houses set in pedestrian woodland. Please note: a car is recommended when staying at this residence.

Not included: security deposit (350 euros/unit), local tourist tax, cleaning charges (incurred if accommodation is not left thoroughly cleaned on departure): 65 euros/sleeping up to 4; 100 euros/sleeping up to 6; 150 euros/sleeping up to 8

ARES is a small, peaceful resort sitting on the shore of the Arcachon Basin, and located 47km from Bordeaux, 42km from Arcachon and 7km from the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean coastline. The tranquil and relaxed lakeside setting makes Ares ideal for family holidays.

Other activities

A range of leisure activities available in resort, many of which are subject to the pattern of the tides. Available at high tide: swimming, watersports including sailing and wind-surfing etc. Available at low tide: beach walking, cockle picking etc. Other activities available in resort include horse-riding, cycling (cycle path between Lege and Andernos), rambling, tennis and Petanque.

Practical information

ARES is within easy reach of the following airports and train stations: Bordeaux-Merignac airport (27km), Bordeaux station (47km), and Facture railway station (25km). The resort is well-equipped and offers a range of facilities and amenities.
