Resort

LE GRAND-BORNAN is part of the Aravis group of resorts, and only 6km away from La Clusaz. The resort is divided into 2 centres: Le Village (1000m) a typical Alpine village built around its Baroque church and market square; and Le Chinaillon (1300m), the actual ski resort (6km away from Le Village - via payable shuttle buses)

Practical information and leisure

LE GRAND BORNAND can be accessed via bus or taxi transfer from Annecy train station (32km), Geneva airport (60km) or Lyon/St Exupery airport (160km). The resort is well-equipped and offers a range of facilities and amenities: doctors, dentists, physios, pharmacies, banks, cash machines and over 100 shops.

LE GRAND BORNANND is linked to the Aravis Domain by shuttle bus and offers 210km of slopes. The GRAND BORNAND itself offers 90km of slopes

Cross-country skiers can enjoy exploring 60km of trails spread over the Confins Plateau (1450m), 4km of trails over the Beauregard Plateau (1650m) and 3km of trails over the Etale area (accessible via cable car or via road from La Clusaz). Access is payable.
