Located in the heart of the Tarentaise area, COURCHEVEL is the most prestigious and well-known resort in the Three Valleys. The resort is made up four seperate villages located at different altitudes (1300m, 1550m, 1650m and 1850m) and linked together by shuttle bus. Courchevel is a lively resort renowned for both its fantastic skiing opportunities and terrains suitable for all abilities, and its thriving apres-ski scene. The resort also offers a wide range of cultural and sporting activities throughout the year to keep both skiers and non-skiers entertained.

Other activities As part of the world-renowned Three Valleys ski area, Courchevel offers skiers the chance to explore an impressive 600km of slopes. If this sounds like too big a challenge for one week, the immediate Courchevel/La Tania ski area offers 150km of slopes as well as a snowpark for both skiers and snowboarders to make the most of during their Alpine getaway.
6-day lift passes can be purchased in-resort or in advance via the resort tourist office website.

Cross-country skiing Cross-country enthusiasts and off-piste adventurers can make the most of Courchevel's 67km of cross-country trails, which are divided into 13 well-posted trails accross the four villages that make up the resort, as well as offering links to trails in Meribel and La Tania.

The area Courchevel offers a wide range of entertainment, so skiers can relax and let their hair down after a long day on the slopes. The resort boasts cinemas, nightclubs, piano bars, a range of restaurants, and local shops.

Practical information Courchevel is within easy reach by coach or taxi from Moutiers train station (25km), or Geneva Coitrin airport (140km). Lagrange can arrange rail travel and accommodation packages for any skiers hoping to let the train take the strain and enjoy a relaxed journey to the Alps this winter.
