The highest resort in Europe with north-facing, snow-sure slopes and doorstep skiing suitable for skiers of all levels. Val Thorens is devided into 4 areas: Hameau de Péclet in the upper part of the resort, Hameau de Caron in the centre, Rue du Soleil in the lower part where most of the children facilities can be found, and the recent Balcons area in the higher part of Val Thorens with direct access to the slopes, 500m from the shops and restaurants.
