Götzens is a picturesque village located just 7km from the larger resort of Innsbruck. Skiers eager to explore the surrounding area will also be pleased to learn that it is only 10km from the Axamer Lizum ski domain, and a free shuttle bus service runs between the resort and the domain.

DOWNHILL SKIING

The local Axamer Lizum ski domain offers 41km of ski runs.
For more adventurous skiers, the Innsbruck Gletscher Skipass offers access to 8 different ski domains: Seegrube-Nordkette, Patscherkofel, Glungezer, Schlick, Axamer Lizum, Kuhta, Rangger Kopfl and the Stubaier Gletscher glacier. All these areas are linked by a free shuttle bus service and the domain has an impressive 270km of slopes in total.

The local ski area offers 30km of cross-country skiing.
