 The "Club des Tout Ptits" looks after children from 18 months to 3 years old : subject to availability - state at time of booking : 105 euros/week (5 or 6 1/2 days depending on the time period - see below).

• The "Mini Club" looks after children from 4 years to 11 years (included) for FREE : games, arts and crafts, entertainment...
  These two clubs are open :
  6 days a week from 19/12 to 2/1, from 6/2 to 6/3 and from 3/4 to 24/4.
  5 days a week for all other dates.
• There is also the "Anim'Jeunes which is for 12 to 14 year old and offers:
  - FREE : evening entertainment, movies...
  - PAYABLE : snowboard lessons, snow scooters...
  This club is available from 19/12-8/1, from 12/2-12/3 and from 9/4 to 30/4.

For any visitors to the Alps looking for a quieter alternative to Val d'Isere that still boasts excellent skiing, TIGNES is the ideal location. This modern, purpose-built resort offers a lively skiing atmosphere at a high altitude on the edge of one of the world's finest skiing areas.
Tignes is divided into 3 areas: Lac, at the heart of the resort, the quieter area of Lavachet, and Val Claret where skiers can make use of the direct link to the Grande Motte glacier and the two small villages which make up Les Brevieres (1500m altitude).

DOWNHILL SKIING

As part of the Espace Killy domain, Tignes offers an impressive 300km of downhill ski slopes served by 97 ski lifts, and the immediate area in Tignes itself boasts 150km of slopes.
6 day "Super Tignes" lift pass rates (based on 2010/2011 prices): 190 euros/adult, 152 euros/child aged 5-12 years (inclusive), children under 5 years ski free of charge.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

The Espace Killy (Tignes/Val d'Isere) offers 40km of cross-country ski trails, 20km of which are located in Tignes itself.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Tignes is easily accessible by coach or taxi from Bourg-Saint-Maurice train station (32km), Lyon/St-Exupéry airport (222km), Genève/Cointrin airport (184km) and Chambéry airport (145km).

Visitors to Tignes should be aware that all parking in-resort is regulated and payable.
Tignes is well-equipped and has all necessary amenities, including a doctors and dentists, plus pharmacies, banks and cash machines, bars and resturants, and local shops.
