FOOD & DRINK

The Travelfood hampers offer a convenient way of eating well on holiday without the incovenience of having to go to the supermarket. Balanced and varied meals are prepared from fresh ingredients, ready to be reheated in a "bain-marie". For adults (from the age of 12 years) choose from options such as "Holiday", "Gourmet", "Vegetarian Gourmet" or "Gastronomic" and for children under 12 years choose the "Child Hamper". The ideal family resort, La Toussuire is located on a vast sunny plateau offering impressive panoramic views and excellent skiing and snowboarding opportunities for all ages and abilities. Many of the resort's slopes rival those found in big name resorts, and the comparative lack of big crowds and lengthy queues for the ski lifts makes La Toussuire a great choice for famililes with small children or those who simply prefer great skiing at a gentler pace.

DOWNHILL SKIING

As part of the wider Les Sybelles ski domain, La Toussuire offers an impressive 310km of downhill ski slopes, and La Toussuire itself offers skiers 55km of slopes suitable for all abilities.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

For cross-country skiers and off-piste daredevils, La Toussuire/Le Corbier offers 27km of cross-country ski slopes, access to which is free of charge.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

La Toussuire is easily accessible by coach from Saint Jean de Maurienne train station (approx 17km). For any visitors who like to sit back and relax on their journey to the Alps, Lagrange can arrange rail travel and accommodation packages. La Toussuire is a well-equipped resort with all necessary amenities, including a doctors surgery, cash machines, and a range of bars and resturants. Also, the amenities in Corbier are easily accessible from La Toussuire (3km), and these include a pharmacy and petrol station.
